MISCELLANEOUS MISCELLANY (aka HOUSEKEEPING)

Hi Everyone! It's taken me awhile to get this up and running, and it hasn't always been pretty, but we now have three possible ways of letting you get your Huntsville 1st Ward Relief Society fix* through the wonders of the interwebs.

We have the Facebook group, the blog, and an email list. Many of you are included in more than one of those. The information in each is going to be exactly the same, so you're free to ask me to remove you from the email list (just reply to this email), or leave the FB group, or whatever your preference is so that you're only getting hit once.

And ... I think that's all for now. Thanks!

*Disclaimer: NOT for entertainment purposes. This is an avenue for sharing announcements, events, reminders, etc.

* It is time again for Pear Guys Pears. We are looking, as of right now, for a mid to end of August delivery. Pears will be picked daily and rushed to us for delivery. Yummmm... They will be Fancys and Field Runs no smaller than 2 3/8  inches in size. The pears will be boxed in 40lb boxes. The cost this year will be $28.00 for a 40 pound box. That is .70cents per pound. You and a neighbor can split a box if that works for you. Checks should be made out to Pears Bears. Cash is fine also. Money needs to be given to Joann Hedges by Aug. 1st. Checks will not be cashed until the pears are delivered. It is going to be a great pear year.

* MARK YOU CALENDARS!! We will behaving a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 28th, in Pat Songer's back yard. Please join us for a fun end of summer evening.

Every family and each auxiliary is asked to participate by submitting pictures, personal letters, memories, etc., to honor our former Stake Presidency. Please give your submissions to JoAnn Hedges by April 21st. President Wadman has asked that every member take this request to heart and do what they can to make the scrapbook a valuable memory for these wonderful men who have served us so diligently.
